Water Damage- Plainview Apartment

Water damage developed at this vacant Plainview apartment when a window framing leaked allowing significant quantities of water to flow into the surrounding drywall and then onto the floor of the pictured room. The drywall would need to be removed because it had absorbed so much water. Since the apartment was unoccupied, the rainwater was left to stand on the laminate flooring for an extended period of time. It would need to be removed and replaced also.
